The Most Popular Books to Read During Quarantine

 In Uncategorized

There are many ways to pass the time during quarantine, but one of my favorites is to pick up a good book. I love that with the turning of the pages I can slip into another reality. Unfortunately, it may be hard to get your hands on a good book right now with many public libraries and books stores closed. The good news is many are offering books online if you’re tired of reading the same books from your shelf.

In honor of world book day this month, April 23rd, we’ve decided to compile a list of the most popular books people are reading as they quarantine at home. We want to note that none of these books are sponsored and we are not affiliated with any of these books or authors.

The No. 1 bestselling book on Amazon was the “My First Learn to Write Workbook,” which is a great option for kids to practice with pen control, line tracing and letters. This one doesn’t come as a huge surprise. Parents all over the country are finding new ways to keep their kids entertained while homeschooling.

That book is followed by Delia Owens’ “Where the Crawdads Sing,” and Celeste Ng’s “Little Fires Everywhere.” You may have heard of that one as it was recently adapted into a Hulu original series starring Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington.

According to MarketWatch, many adults are buying and reading survival and homemaking books. One of the most popular is the newly released cookbook from Joanna Gaines “Magnolia Table, Vol. 2: A Collection of Recipes for Gathering.”  Of course, the classics like F Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby” are perfect for dusting off the shelf during this time.

Whatever your choice, there are plenty of options to escape reality or learn a new skill.
