The city of Inglewood is filled with programs, events and recreational activities to keep one busy and having fun for years!

  • Parks – Inglewood is proud of its ten public parks, two recreational centers and it´s senior center, all of which are available to the residents for their leisure time activities.
  • Boys and Girls Club – The Boys and Girls Club Program starts meeting in September and continues through the school year. These clubs meet Monday through Friday at Darby and Rogers Parks.   • Senior Citizens – There are five senior citizens clubs in our City with approximately 1700 members in the Association of Senior Citizens Clubs. Activities include dancing, card playing, field trips, singing, arts and crafts, movies and lectures.
  • SoFi Stadium at Hollywood Park – The open-air roof-covered stadium and entertainment complex is a new and exciting part of Inglewood and is close to Imperial Trailer  Village. It is the new home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers.
  • After School Recreation Program – The After School Recreation Program provides recreation-centered activities like music, art, sports, dance, and school study groups for homework completing.   • Early Childhood Education Program (Pre-School) – Activities are geared to each specific age group and include small and large motor skill development, rhythm and musical activities, science exploration and reading readiness. Located in Darby Park, Lockhaven Community Center, Rogers Park, Siminski Park and Vincent Park – with morning and afternoon classes.
  • Cultural Section – Classes are offered in six categories: art, drama, dance, music special interest activities, and special events. 310-412-8700.
  • Inglewood Playhouse Theater – Located in Vincent Park, features productions utilizing professional actors in dramatic works of value.
  • Adult Sports Programs – Softball and basketball are offered for all adults.
  • Special Events in Inglewood – Cesar Chavez Day Celebration and Health Fair, July 4th celebration, Cultural Arts Festival, Classic Car Show, and Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony.
  • Swimming Pool Programs – located in Vincent Park.310-412-8700.
  • Boxing Program – Serves youth 9 to 18 years of age.
  • Tennis Courts – Located in Vincent Park, Darby Park, Rogers Park, Ashwood Park and North Park.
  • Youth Tennis League – The Inglewood Tennis League is designed to feature competition for youths ages 8 through 18 years of age.
  • Computer Lab and College – Located at the Resource Lab at Rogers Park, free computer classes are offered for youth, families and senior citizens.
  • SHAPE – Provides homework assistance, tutoring and mentoring by UCLA students. 310-412-5508.
  • Senior Citizens Multi-Purpose Center – Designed for persons 50 years and older who seek information and assistance for problems unique to senior citizens. 310-412-5338.
  • Skate Parks – Inglewood has three thriving skate parks, open from dawn to dusk.
