Cooking in a Small Kitchen
Lets face it, if you are living in a Los Angeles RV Park, you probably don’t have a huge kitchen space. It can be a bit overwhelming sometimes to cook a meal in such a small space. However, don’t let a small space discourage you! Here are some helpful tips from our Los Angeles RV Park experts on how to make the most out of your kitchen, no matter how small it is.
Use wall space as much as possible. Hang pots/pans and use wall-mounted spice racks.
Don’t store things on the counter, because even the smallest thing can be overwhelming. Use a pantry to store big things that you don’t use everyday like blenders and mixers.
A crockpot will be your best friend. They are nice because you don’t have to use a lot of counter space to prepare your meal. Just throw the ingredients in, and a few hours later your meal is done!
Store things inside of other things. This is a great tip because it helps you use up every inch of available space. It can take some time to organize though so don’t get discouraged!
Get a big cutting board to put over your sink. This will double your counter space, and it is only temporary, so you can remove it once you are done.
Clean as you cook. If you wait until after you eat to clean up, you will be overwhelmed with how much there is to do.
